Yamaha Stage Custom Hip Shell Set NW (without cymbals)
Stage Custom Hip
A compact Stage Custom kit using the 100%birch shells that have become synonymous with Yamaha drums. A shallow bass drum measuring 20 x 8 inches supports the bottom-end of the band and keeps the overall setup compact. The floor tom is also equipped with snares to allow for use in a variety of different kinds of music.
20" x 8" Bass Drum
This kit combines the diameter used to achieve the rich bass tones of a regular set with a shallow body that allows the drummer to save space.
Floor Tom with snare
The floor tom comes equipped with 20-strand snares and can be transformed into a deep, 13-inch snare drum with only a single action. In addition to jazz and pop music, it can also be used for hip-hop, R&B, and a variety of other musical genres.
Compact Setting
Thanks to a bass drum that is thinner than usual, the Stage Custom Hip is compact enough to set up in even the smallest of venues.
Perfect for practicing at home
Compact size combined with commercially available mesh heads and practice cymbals allows you to practice in almost perfect silence. In addition, installing an EAD10 or trigger pickups transforms the Stage Custom Hip into a hybrid drum kit that allows you to enjoy a rich variety of sounds.
The perfect match for Advanced Lightweight Hardware HW3
Lightweight and easy to carry, the HW3 is the perfect hardware set to combine with the Stage Custom Hip.
100% BIRCH shell
This kit employs the 100% birch, 6-ply shells that have become synonymous with Yamaha drums. It combines the rich, mid-range sound characteristics of birch with an expressive shell resonance.
Ball Mount & Clamp
Yamaha's original ball mount and clamp tighten the plate with wing bolts and fix the built-in resin ball in place, allowing you to set the drum at any angle while maintaining excellent stability and accuracy.
